My name is called Collins Phiech Loshawenge, I am in grade 8 in Daylight model School. My country where I was born is Baringo.  My family is in Chemolingot near the town.  My father is a farmer while my mother is a housewife.

My favorite class is eight where I learn many things in the world.  I Like my class because we perform well in our exam.  We usually arranged our class because we used everyday.

We follow the school routine every day so that to make the work of teachers easy.  My best subject is science and I perform well.  We always being in uniform and in discipline.  I always perform well because our teachers teach well.

When I grow up I would like to be a doctor as my father.  I want to be a doctor because my people are suffering from covid 19 . I would be going every day in hospital to treat my people. During my leisure time, I always visiting the sick who were sleeping in the hospital.  I always carry for them some fruits so that to boost their immune.

My favorite thing about daylight is free education and best teachers, that offer us best education.  I Thank Daylight, they took me when I was still young and they brought me.  Thank for giving me good education.

May God bless you and continue to build Daylight Model School.

When Pembe’s mother heard about Daylight, she cried tears of joy and said she had been praying that God would give Pembe a better life ever since he became physically disabled as a baby during a raid on their homestead. Fast forward 10 years and here is Pembe today. A graduate of Daylight Primary School and on his way to High School!

“I have had the great joy of watching Collins grow up!
Michael Kimpur and I brought Collin to Daylight when he was 5 years old. Collin’s mom asked us to bring him to school because Collins only had one foot due to a raid on his village when he was a baby.

To read a letter from Collins that he now delivers fruit to sick people in the hospital really brings home how much of an impact we made.
Collins wants to be a doctor and I am rooting for him!”
